Jharkhand Cabinet approves healthcare scheme for people deprived of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme 33 lakh people will get the benefit

Jharkhand Cabinet on Friday approved a healthcare scheme for people deprived of the benefits of the Center’s Ayushman Bharat scheme. He said that 33.44 lakh people will benefit from the Chief Minister Abua Swasthya Suraksha Yojana and they will get health cover of Rs 15 lakh per year.

Ayushman Bharat scheme in the state, About 28 lakh people benefit, An official said that initially these 33.44 lakh people were left out, but the previous BJP government of the state decided to include them in Ayushman Bharat by paying the premium from its own resources.

The Healthcare Scheme was approved during a state cabinet meeting chaired by Minister Champai Soren. Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel said, “Under the scheme, a card will be given to the beneficiaries.”

About 28 lakh people are benefiting from the Ayushman Bharat scheme in the state. An official said that initially these 33.44 lakh people were excluded, but the previous BJP government of the state decided to include them in Ayushman Bharat by paying the premium from its own resources.

Under Ayushman Bharat, every family gets a coverage of Rs 5 lakh annually. He said that under the new scheme of the state, the coverage has been increased to Rs 15 lakh.
