During ovulation, the mature egg is released from the ovary and enters the fallopian tube. If sperm is present in the Fallopian Tube, fertilization may occur.

The fallopian tubes also play a crucial role in the early development of the embryo. After fertilization, the fertilized egg, or zygote, begins to divide as it travels through the fallopian tube towards the uterus. It takes about 4-5 days for the embryo to reach the uterus, where it can implant and continue to grow.

The cervix is the lower part of the uterus that connects to the vagina. It acts as a gateway, allowing sperm to enter the uterus during intercourse and serving as a passage for the baby during childbirth.

During Pregnancy, the cervix changes in preparation for labor and delivery. It becomes softer, shorter, and more dilated as the due date approaches. When a woman goes into labor, the Cervix dilates further to allow the baby to pass through the birth canal.
