The first beneficiary of PM Shri Air Ambulance service got a new life with a free facility.

Govindlal Tiwari of Rewa district has become the first person to avail the facility of PM Shri Air Ambulance in the state.

PM Shri Air Ambulance Service also got a new life, 50-year-old Ayushman card holder Govindlal Tiwari was sent from Rewa to Bhopal via air ambulance. Govindlal Tiwari of Rewa became the first beneficiary of PM Shri Air Ambulance service and got a new life with free facility.

On the night of June 23, Govindlal Tiwari felt discomfort in the heart pain, he suffered a severe heart attack, the family immediately took him to the Medical College of Rewa, where his condition improved slightly after initial treatment, but when the improvement did not happen as expected, the doctors decided to refer him to Bhopal.

With the help of doctors of the super-specialty Hospital and the district administration, he was airlifted under the state government’s flagship initiative ‘PM Shri Air Ambulance Service Facility, and admitted to Bhopal for better treatment. The doctor said that the patient’s condition was stable.

Dr. Akshay Srivastava, Superintendent of Superspeciality Hospital Rewa, said, “It is a matter of great joy that we referred a patient from here to Bhopal under PM Shri Air Ambulance facility on the evening of June 24. The patient was admitted here on the night of June 23 after suffering a heart attack and chest pain. He was given first aid and stayed here all night, but when there was no improvement in his condition, we referred him to Bhopal by air ambulance.

This was the first time we were availing the air ambulance facility, so many procedures were followed and we sent the patient from here to Bhopal on the evening of June 24.”

After getting permission from all the concerned officials, the patient was taken from the hospital to Churta Airport through an ambulance. After this, the air ambulance equipped with a ventilator, monitor, doctor, nursing staff, and all the necessary facilities reached there and he was airlifted to Bhopal. The patient is undergoing treatment in Bhopal and his condition is stable.

The family expressed gratitude.

Govindlal Tiwari’s sister Mrs. Sunita Devi said- My brother had a heart attack last night, after getting treatment at Rewa Medical College, the doctors referred him to Bhopal for better treatment, due to the PM Shri Air Ambulance service started by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, we were able to take our brother to Bhopal without any expense, I express my heartfelt gratitude to the Deputy Chief Minister and Public Health and Medical Education Minister of Madhya Pradesh Government, Shri Rajendra Shukla and MLA Shri Girish Gautam.

PM Shri Air Ambulance facility is a boon

The PM “Shri Air Ambulance Service” provided by the Madhya Pradesh government not only saved the life of Govindlal Tiwari but also provided great relief to his family. This service has been made available for Ayushman Bharat cardholder patients and seriously injured persons in accidents and natural disasters. The Madhya Pradesh government has started this service so that serious patients can get better medical assistance on time and their lives can be saved. The purpose of this service is that no patient loses his life due to lack of treatment.
